My compare and contrast ESSAY!

These days, students goes to lots of camps. For example, my friend went to the Philip-pines  to learn English and my sister went to the Yunse University camp. Also, i'm in a camp now too! Like this, there are lots of camps that we could learn lots of subjects. Today! I will compare and contrast two camps which is the Ranch West Camp and the Head Start Splash.     The Ranch West camp is opened in Canada for four weeks. In this camp, we can choose the subject that we want . For example, you can choose Math, Art, History, Science, Politics, World cultures, Music, Computer programming, and Literature. This camp is taught by recent graduates from the local university and we do homestays. In addition, there are lots of activities too. We can do Horseback riding, river rafting, hiking, canoeing and mountain hiking.
The second camp, Head start splash is opened near the island of Cebu, Phillippines for five weeks which is a kind of long. We study a condensed version of the material used during one semester in a certified " International" School.  This camp is taught by local teachers with Bachelor's degrees and certificates to teach English as a Second language which we could improve our English skills alot. In this camp, at least one parents should accompany with the child and they will live in a small apartment which the camps gives. We can do lots of outside activities when we participate this camp like snorkeling, fishing, a trip to a local butterfly garden and visits to local exotic animal refugers.
These two camps have lots of similarities and differences. The similarities are that we could learn English and we stay for over 3weeks. However, the Ranch West Camp stays for four weeks in Canada but the Head start Splash stays for five weeks near the island of Cebu, Philippenes. Also, the Ranch West Camp does homestays but the Head Start Splash stays with their families in a small apartment.
Like these reason, there are similarities and differences that we can compare and contrast. I think that the Ranch West camp is much better than the Head start Splash in that we can choose the subject we want. But, these two camps will both be a fun camp!

  1. Nicely written, but you spent a lot of time on the facts of the camps, and not a lot of time comparing and contrasting the differences.
